Basic Marinara Sauce

The only basic marinara sauce recipe you’ll ever need! Simple ingredients for a basic sauce you’ll use for all pasta dishes, meatballs or even pizza sauce!

I use canned peeled tomatoes for this basic sauce. But, feel free to use whole tomatoes, too! Blend the tomatoes prior to adding them to the sauce pan! This will ensure your sauce has a thick and smooth consistency. Lots of garlic is definitely the key here!
