Spicy Kale Chips w/ Lemon Tahini
Ingredients
  • 5 medium stalks of kale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Lemon Tahini Dressing:
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Remove the leaves from the stalks and break into small pieces. Wash and completely dry the kale leaves.
  3. Place in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Massage leaves until well coated.
  4. Sprinkle on nutritional yeast, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Massage until seasonings are well distributed.
  6. In a single layer, transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 8-11 minutes until crispy.
  8. To make the lemon tahini dressing, whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl.
  9. Once the kale is finished, let cool for a few minutes. The serve immediately with dressing.
