Pitaya Smoothie

Spring is officially here and it’s feeling more and more like it every day, as we approach some nicer weather here in New Jersey! Up until last week, we were still dealing with snow falling, inches and inches of ice on the ground, freezing cold windy days. Definitely not the kind of weather we prefer (still deciding why we live here)

Here’s a pitaya smoothie to brighten any day! I love dragon fruit, it has such a unique depth of fruity flavor, a flavor you don’t get from nearly any other fruit. It’s bright and striking trademark color of pink can draw anyone in for a little taste! This is a simple & easy 5 ingredient smoothie recipe.

How to make:

1 Pitaya packet
1 frozen banana
1 cup unsweetend almond milk
1 date, pitted
1 tablespoon greek yogurt
6-8 ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth! Transfer to a glass & enjoy!
