Cranberry Orange Sauce
Ingredients
  • 2lb cranberries (about 8 cups)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1½ cup cane sugar
  • 1 medium orange, juice and zest
Instructions
  1. Add water, cane sugar and the juice of one orange (about 1 cup) to a medium sauce pot. Cook on low to medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Rinse cranberries and add to the pot. Cook on medium to high heat for 20 minutes.
  3. The cranberries will begin to pop and the sauce will slowly thicken. Stir occasionally.
  4. Add orange zest.
  5. Let cool slightly and store in an air tight jar.
